The Legacy Project: Networking with a Purpose.

Join us at the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin to share your passion for helping others at the 2019 Annual Conference Legacy Project on Wednesday, May 1! This is a great opportunity to work with community leaders while experiencing all that the caring staff at the Boys & Girls Club does to serve children from every walk of life.

Registration for this event is free.* 

Registrants will receive a complimentary t-shirt. Register by April 1, 2019 to guarantee your t-shirt size. 

*Please note that you must be an Illinois ASBO member in order to participate.


2019 Tasks

Take part in projects across the grounds to improve the daily experience for the children served at the Boys & Girls Club of Elgin. Projects will include:
  • Planting, weeding, property clean-up, small building project in the garden
  • Building storage shelves, repairing furniture, painting
  • Small DIY projects for students such as outdoor games, garden items or healthy lifestyle projects
  • And much more!

About the Legacy Project

The Legacy Project started as an Illinois ASBO member initiative in 2012. This day of giving allows members to give back to the community and connect to a valuable cause. Members have improved the lives of individuals through assisting organizations including: MarklundClearbrook, Crittenton Centers, EP!C and Feed My Starving Children.

After your day of giving, join your peers to kick off the Conference at Sam & Harry's, conveniently located within the Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center! 
A hospitality including hors d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided courtesy of the Service Associate Advisory Committee (SAAC).
