The Legacy Project: Networking with a Purpose.

Join us at the Marklund Philip Center to share your passion for helping others at the 2018 Legacy Project! This is a great opportunity to work with community leaders while experiencing all that the caring staff at Marklund does to serve those with profound disabilities.

2018 Tasks

Take part in projects across the grounds to improve the daily quality of life for clients, including:

  • Outdoor painting, staining and gardening
  • Organizing main storage areas for cleanliness and safety
  • Installing pavers to create new and accessible walkways between buildings
  • Power washing and deep cleaning indoor and outdoor spaces
  • Assembling therapy and activity stations

About the Legacy Project

The Legacy Project started as an Illinois ASBO member initiative in 2012. This day of giving allows members to give back to the community and connect to a valuable cause. Members have improved the lives of individuals through assisting organizations including: Clearbrook, Crittenton Centers, EP!C and Feed My Starving Children.
